June 14, 2011 - Final Project Due, Self Assess

Essential Questions:
What can I do to complete this project to get a high mark?
How can I judge my own project and check my own understanding?


1)  Finish your project.  You have until 30 minutes before the bell rings.  At that time you will do the following:

2)  Open up your Final Project Write-Up.  Go to the bottom of the page, change font color to red and write a paragraph addressing the Essential Questions and the goals/objectives you wrote up.  Also, write about your final impressions of your project and the process.   Minimum 10 sentences.  Email this document to me.

3)  Grade yourself on the Final Project Rubric. Fill out the student columns.  Don’t forget to refer to your Write-Up and add a few Project Requirements yourself..

4)  Email your final project to me. (JPG format OR PPT)   Label it lastnamefinalblock#

June 10, 2011 - Final Project 2

How will you make use of your critique today?

1) DIN: online and plan for today
2) Go out and photograph OR work in the room
3) Come back in time to upload to a folder called FINAL in your Photography folder on your Z:drive
4) Hold a critique with 3 classmates. Make notes and use the suggestions given.
5) TOD: online and teacher check off

HOMEWORK: (due JUNE 14, 2011) Fill out the Mrs. Thomas Teaching Survey online.

June 8, 2011 - Final Project

June 6, 2011 - S. Assessment and Final Proj. Proposal

Essential Questions:
How can you assess your own work?
What will you be doing for your final project?

1) Go to the Photo Essay Self Assessment on the right and complete this document. The more you explain/write the more points you will earn. Hit SUBMIT button.

2) Complete your Final Project Proposal. See link at right. Submit through email.

Final Photo Project:  Create an assignment for yourself.  Write it up in a proposal.

Choices: 

1.    Create your own assignment.

2.    Re-create a photograph by a professional photographer 

3.    Improve your Hockney or Surrealist project

4.    Re-Do a previous assignment

5.    Unite yourself with a celebrity or idol.

b) Essential Question(s):    Write 2 important, wide ranging questions that you will be able to answer at the end of your project.
